So? What do you hate more? Terribly hot weather or terribly cold weather.
I get headaches in really hot weather, and I feel sick, and I want to sleep the whole day.
Cold weather is cold, but I can put on layers.
So, I hate hot weather more, I'd say.

I like hot weather because, well, it's HOT, you can wear less clothes and actually move about indoors and out without getting dressed up like the Stay-Puft Marshmallow Man. You don't drip your boots all over the rug, you get sick less in the summer (at least, I do) and did I mention beach and swimming and outside, especially at night? I really like hot weather because I have a low body temperature and it's easier for me to regulate it in warm weather. Cold weather is good too, when you're sick of the hot, but I kinda like being outside without being turned into a humansicle, having my boogers freeze in my nose and my fingers freeze in my gloves, and trying to maintain a good body temperature (which usually means about 6 layers of clothing). Probably the best thing it's good for is freezing zombies and plagues so they die or don't spread. Oh, and polar bears. They need cold. So cold is good when you're sick of the hot - but only then.

I saw you posted in this thread, and I KNEW you were gonna say terribly hot... lol But, if it is terribly hot out, there are only limited amounts of layers you can NOT wear, but if it is cold out, you just put on layers.

I am less uncomfortable in extreme heat than I am in extreme cold, however, things come with the heat that can really make things more unbearable like biting and stinging insects, various poisonous plants and snakes and other things that are simply downright nasty . So, after everything is said and done, it really appears to be a toss up for me. I'll ponder this one a bit more .

yeah i don't know why, i just really like hot weather. it's actually so hot here that we don't really get a lot of biting and stinging insects... well scorpions and stuff, but they're nocturnal.. which is why you don't camp in the desert.

Unless you absolutely have to, like if your car has broken down out in the middle of nowhere.

Scorpions. Fun. Broken down car in the middle of nowhere. Really fun. Minnesotan super-cold weather. Not so fun.

Uhm... scorpions equal ick.
COLD.
Cold, cold, cold, cold.
Basically, layers are the best things ever invented by mankind, excepting perhaps toast, and one is simply able to implement this wonderful invention more often when it's frigid outside. There are only so many layers one can take off, after all.
Living where I am I'm discovering something of a great love for temperatures that aren't generally inhabitable by humankind. I love it when the snow starts to melt a bit, and then refreezes, and it gets so cold that it starts to sublimate up off the sidewalk a bit, so that when you step on it it makes that beautiful sharp cracking sound that someday I'll write about somewhere. I love that sounds. It makes me want to skip. Except that skipping on ice is hazardous.
So I suppose cold really is quite dangerous, but it's quite a bit more enjoyable for my particular self than the hot. I'd rather freeze solid than melt, thanks.

I dislike cold more. I think it would be sweet to live in Australia. everybody is happy there, the weather is great, and they were never in any wars. That's the way it seems from the outside at least...
